Following the publication of Heidi Kraepel-Griffth's "Other
Voices column in the April 24, '07, Ann Arbor News, the text
of the letter was set out for signatures at the following Ann
Arbor businesses:
Arbor Farms Market
Downtown Home and Garden
The Earle Downtown
Fingerle Lumber Company
Stadium Hardware
Shaman Drum Bookstore
And in Chelsea,
Pierce's Pastries
Zou Zou's
Signatures were also collected at large and, to a lesser extent, by other
businesses. The signature sheets were then faxed to REO America.
What follows is a scan of the original letter and the signatures that were
collected.
Some of the original sheets that were faxed directly from local businesses
are missing and did not get scanned. This is the probable explanation if
YOUR signature is missing: send us an e-mail and your name will be added
to a list of the MIA.
Neither Mr Gale or anyone representing REO America has ever
responded in any way to the petition....so much for
their concern with the community.
