Although he had originally insisted that 1960 was worth $300,000
(phone message from Tiffany Nelson, 08-18-04), at various times
and places, Doug Gale or his agents have maintained that a "cash
buyer", a "bargain hunter" was prepared to pay $200K, $180K cash,
for 1960. Actual events make it hard to see this as anything other
than a simple lie.

No material to substantiate these claims was ever offered, even
when requested.

When challenged, this buyer has never materialized.

As far as the appraisal goes, Gale never followed up on either his
own suggestions or my requests.

The final sale price to Don Reiff of $80,000 gives the lie to all Doug
Gale's claims as to 1960 S Maple's value.
