Although he had originally insisted that 1960 was worth $300,000
(phone message from Tiffany Nelson,
(now Tiffany Cone) 08-18-04),
at various times and places, Doug Gale or his agents have
maintained that a "cash buyer", a "bargain hunter" was prepared to
pay $200K, $180K cash, for 1960. Actual events make it hard to see
this as anything other than a simple lie.

No material to substantiate these claims was ever offered, even
when requested.

Gale, when challenged, never offered any kind of proof that this
buyer existed
.

As far as the appraisal goes, Gale never followed up on either his
own suggestions or my requests.

The final sale price to Don Reiff of $80,000 gives the lie to all Doug
Gale's claims
of 1960 S Maple's value.
