<<Mr. Beal has spent three years living free in a home he didn't
own>>

It was a home I owned, had paid for completely, and the law
allowed me the right to request to stay in place - which was
granted - while I challenged Destiny 98's claim to it.

As for living "free": perhaps a stretch could be made that I lived
"free" from 03-29-04 when Destiny 98 made tax payments
essential to moving ahead with foreclosure to 03-01-05 at
which point I made the first of the $800/month payments into an
escrow account Destiny 98 requested to protect "their
interests" in the property.

Destiny 98 also requested and received an order on their
behave requiring me to obtain homeowner's insurance or
provide a bond, again, to protect "their interests" in the
property. For obvious reasons the insurance policy I bought
was excessively expensive, $270 a month on average. Would
you issue a policy at a reasonable cost for a house embroiled
in a dispute for which it was easy to imagine circumstances
where any of the parties involved might want to see it
destroyed?

At the time of the resolution of the lawsuit, 06-22-06 - when the
Michigan Supreme Court declined to hear the case -
there was
$13,200 in the account which Destiny 98 then received. So
much for "living free."
