<<Mr. Beal is a fine woodworker and I believe he would agree
that the property is far from a “restored” condition>>
Besides being bombastically patronising, Doug Gale has no
means whatsoever to make this judgment. Nor did I ever
represent that 1960 was "restored"
He has no knowledge of any kind of what the state of the
property was before I began working on it in 1978.
My comments about it's condition were/are generally in the
context of what the cost would be for what still needed/needs
to be done to make the property marketable in a conventional
sense.
No one familiar with the history of 1960 would argue that I
have done anything but repair, restore and improve the entire
property.
For an assessment of it's current condition, go to this link.
See also Doug Gale's e-mails with mine of 07-17-07 that details
the main blocks of work still needing to be done.
