The two elements that Tax Deed Purchasers rely on is the
obscurity in which they can do their business and the fact
that time is on their side.
It's a rare situation where just waiting for things to quiet
down, or waiting for a legal case to move forward doesn't
work for the benefit of the Tax Deed Purchaser.
Write, call, e-mail anyone and everyone whom you feel
ought to know what is happening. Let the Purchasers know
they are being watched...

For reform within your own community, the local county
treasurer is usually the most directly involved with tax deed
buyers...begin there and then move on to your State
congress members, the State prosecutor's office...do not
leave them alone until you know that the system YOU live
under seems fair to You.
Respect the Tax Deed Purchasers who do their work
responsibly while sensitive to the lives of their "victims",
THE OTHERS SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS...
AS THEY HAVE BEEN IN MICHIGAN.
